Functional Safety For Applications In The Process industry From Weidmuller

safety relayThe goal of functional safety procedures is to reduce risks for people and the environment to a tolerable level. The SCS 24VDC P1SIL3 I safety relay meets the international safety standards by executing a safety-related disconnection of systems according to EN 61508, SIL 3.

The SCS 24VDC P1SIL3 I safety relay is designed particularly for use with Triconex® safety controllers from Schneider Electric. It is resistant to test pulses of the Triconex® output modules. A proof of compatibility is available for use with Tricon™, Trident™ and Tri-GP™ systems. The new safety relay is certified “Approved Safety Function” by the TÜV NORD to meet all specifications from EN 61508 to SIL3.

The secure and efficient way of distributing power - Klippon® Connect provides the required flexibility

With the increasing automation, the number of three-phase-motors–whose connections must be accommodated in the control cabinet–also increases. The unique three-tier design of the new Klippon® Connect AMC motor terminals enables a secure motor connection in a confined space.

Klippon® Connect motor connection terminals AMC stand out with their compact design and proven PUSH IN technology for fast and safe wiring of three-phase motors in confined spaces. Due to an additional vertical connector, the single tiers can be interconnected such that the motor connection terminals can also be used as potential distributors, enabling extremely space-saving solutions for a wide range of applications.
